Institute of Krav Maga Membership
Attend an Induction
To join the Institute of Krav Maga UK, you must be at least 18 year of age. Young adults aged between 16 - 18 may join with parental consent. Monthly membership prices can be found here.
As a complete beginner it is important that you understand the very basics of the Krav Maga system and therefore are required to attend an induction session.
The induction session costs only £20.00 during which you will learn the basics of how to stand and move correctly and will be taught the 360 degree system of defence. After you have completed the induction you can then attend classes with enough knowledge to get the most from your training.
When you join the Institute of Krav Maga UK you are able to train at any of our listed classes across London and Essex. There is no need to book your preferred class, simply turn up.
How to Book Your Induction

- Proceed through our secure payment process (You will receive a payment receipt from Google Checkout)
- Receive your confirmation email from us and full induction details within 48 hours of completing the booking process.
At the induction once you have completed the training, you will get to speak to one of our instructors to discuss which membership package best suits your lifestyle and training requirements, you will be invited to sign up to one of our membership packages shown below and you can begin attending classes immediately.
Please note that inductions are non refundable unless in the unlikely event the session is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Joining The Institute
Once you have chosen your membership package, a one off payment of £50.00 is required in order to administer and complete your registration. This fee includes:
- Membership to the Institute of Krav Maga UK.
- Membership to the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF).
- Discounts on all Institute of Krav Maga UK workshops and courses.
- Automatically added to our database from which you will receive the monthly newsletter and information on future events.
- Official IKMF training t-shirt.
- Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance
Discount
Krav Maga UK Ltd offers a 20% discount on all membership levels to students who can produce valid student identification.
Insurance
The Institute of Krav Maga makes every effort to ensure that all training taken place is done so in a controlled manner, in a safe and secure environment, under qualified supervision. All Instructors are fully covered with public liability and personal indemity insurance to allow them to teach the techniques as dictated by the Krav Maga Syllabus.
In order to fully protect against unfortunate accidents or incidents, your joining fee includes insurance to allow you to practice Krav Maga.
Cover is inclusive of:

- Injury Assistance
Your insurance cover commences on the date that your first monthly payment is made which includes your joining fee. For full details about what the insurance policy covers, please contact us.
Other Information
Annual Holiday: No classes are run during Bank Holidays and we take an annual summer training break in late July for 2 weeks and over the Christmas and New Year period. Exact dates may vary each year and will be posted on the news page and on the club newsletter distributed via email. Instructors will also inform you of the dates in class.
Training Breaks: Should you need to take a break from training due to travelling, work or personal commitments, you are able to retain your place at the Institute of Krav Maga UK by reducing your monthly payments to a retainer of £10.00 per month. Your full membership fees are then reinstated when you wish to recommence training.
Class Cancellations: In the unlikely event of a class cancellation due to unforseen circumstances such as Instructor Injury or illness, you are invited to train at any of our other weekly classes in order to make up for your missed session. Class cancellations are notifed via this website and where possible e-mail.
Membership Cancellation: Please note that should you wish cancel your membership and cease training with the Institute, you must give at least 4 weeks notice via email prior to the cancellation of your direct debit which will be adminstered for your once we receive your cancellation request.
